It was a little cooler this morning as I woke up. In fact it showed 57 degrees in the boat. We can't put the heater on because we are on the mooring. At least we know this cold front is here only for a couple more days. We just have to put layers on.

Steve worked on the water maker and could not get it going so he called the place where he purchased it. Mother told him two membranes are missing so they will ship it. So it looks like our new fridge compressor and membranes will be coming on a plane on Tuesday at Treasured Island where we will go by ferry to pick it up. So we will be staying at Green Turtle Cay for another week. I am not complaining. It is beautiful here.
We sat on a ledge and could see a star fish in the water.

10:30am- Went in town to scope things out and talked to locals. We couldn't believe all the homes in town are just falling apart. One of the grocery merchant told us when someone dies, no one buys the house so they simply rot. What a shame since they are on prime property. She explained that all the younger generation move away since there is nothing for them here. So sad.
We walked thru the cemetery. Notice it is on the left looking down at the town.
Roosters are all over the island
6:00pm- The moon is already out while I prepare dinner.

Steve was checking out the old prison
We brought the golf cart back for 4:30pm. Settled in the boat for dinner and Steve did some reading while I painted.
January 11, 201710:00am- went for a shower and then Steve filled the dinghy with fuel. Still lot of wind today but it is warmer.
At the boat, Steve installed a 12 volt plug for the bedroom in order to charge my iPad and iPhone.. Our electric coffee maker broke, so he tried repairing it but no luck. In the garbage it goes. We will wait until we get to Marsh Harbour to get another one. Apparently, their prices are more reasonable there. We will just use our percolator until then. We cleaned the jet on the gas oven so that the oven works more efficient. All in all, we got a lot accomplished today. Steve even got reading time and I got painting time. It was a very productive day so we decided we deserved a Margarita..
The full moon appeared from behind the clouds and lit up the sky.
