January 14-15, 2016- Green Turtle Cay

January 14, 2017

It rained and was windy again last night. I made pancakes for breakfast.  Guess I should of brought more Maple syrup since we are down to half a bottle.  I will have to remember to bring more next year since I am sure they do not sale it here or it would cost too much to buy.  Good thing we don't have pancakes every day.
It was cloudy most of the day but that didn't stop us from going in town to buy a few groceries.
We later came back to the boat and Steve did some reading while I painted a few cards. 
3:30pm- Went for a long walk on the beach.

4:30pm- Donny came to check the fridge compressor and he verified that everything was fine. 
5:30pm- Had Tacos for dinner and then relaxed and watch a couple of Soprano episodes.

January 15, 2017

Got up early and watch the sunrise while the moon was still out.

After doing my exercise, we made another 35 gallons of water and then went for a long walk on the beach.  What a gorgeous day.  We picked a few shells and fan coral.  I want to paint the fan coral.  

While walking back, Steve managed to get a coconut out of the tree.  Once we got to the boat, he opened it up and we drank the coconut water and ate some of the coconut.  We even shredded coconut in peanut butter and dipped apples pieces in it.  Yum. 

After that snack, I went kayaking while Steve did some fishing.  He caught a few small fish but put them back in the water.

I met a friend along the way.

He then went kayaking while I painted cards.

4:00pm-   We brought Margaritas at John and  Terry and enjoyed our conversations.

5:30pm-  Back to the boat where we later barbecued sausages while listening to music.  Lovely evening.  Terry gave us DVD 's to watch.  Guess no Soprano tonight!
