October 29,2016-NC- Mike Hammock Bay

October 29, 2017
7:30am- Left Oriental at mile 181.  I hung out our shower towels all night to dry but that wasn't a very good idea.  When we woke up, they were more wet due to the heavy dew.

Going by an area where there is evidence of hurricane Matthew.  Sailboat and motor boat washed up.

Going by Bock Marina at mile 195

10:00am- I saw my first sighting of dolphins.  Morgan will be happy to hear it.

We arrived at an inlet where we could go out in the ocean but of course we are staying in the ICW
There were so many fisherman along the ICW today.  You know it is Saturday.

Wouldn't,t want to stay here after reading this sign

This poor sailor ran their vessel aground.  Good thing there is US Tow

Enjoying the sun and my new chair.
Steve also took time to soak up the sun.  It ended up being in the 70's today.
Passed by Dudley marina.  We were going to stop here however we were falling a sailboat called "Bella" and they knew a place to anchor a little further on.
A little further on was the Casper marina.

4:45pm- Arrived at Mile Hammock Bay miles 244.  We covered 58.09 today.  What a gorgeous place to anchor.  Actually, it was such a nice run today.

While I make supper, Steve figured he would do a little fishing.
6:15pm- Watched the sunset
