Did I say it stopped raining. It rained all night. Steve and I didn't hurry to get up. Is it Thanksgiving???
I have been getting a lot of emails wishing us Happy Thanksgiving. We have lost track of the calendar and even time. The Americans do not celebrate Thanksgiving until the end of November.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all our family and friends. There won't be turkey on our plates this year. Can't use up propane to cook a turkey all day. I will have to reminisce on last years turkey. Shannon, my neighbour, told me how to cover a turkey with bacon and cook it. It was the most moist turkey I have ever made.
11:00- After it stopped raining, we went back to the boat show. We met up with Cate and Stephen in order to return their waterproof bag which they kindly lent us yesterday.
They will be driving back to Fifty Point tomorrow.

Steve stopped at one of the booth to try out "Aches & Pains Be Gone"
Of course we had to stop and get an ice cream cone at one of my favorite places Kilwik. Although we like Fifty Point Marina's ice cream.
3;30pm- Went back to the boat to relax. It is pretty windy right now. Gusting at 40. At least the sun is shining.
9:00pm- we managed to watch the presidential debate between Clinton & Trump on our iPad. Very entertaining.

BRRR....woke up from my warm duvet this morning to a chilling 50 degrees in the boat. No worries, Steve runs the engine while I make toast and coffee. It warms up the boat. You forget the luxury of having shore power. At the marina, you would simply plug in the heater. It is all part of the adventure. That is why on this Thanksgiving Day, I am grateful for all that we have and for being able to do this passage while we are blessed with health.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all our Canadian family and friends.
11:00- Walked around town most of the day and guess what we had for lunch. You guessed it...Cream of clam soup. By the time I leave here, I will turn into a clam. It is so good though.
I had to stop in a Visitor's tourist Center to ask them why they had all these huge chicken around town. He explained that merchants had a chicken decorating contest.
2:30pm- Went back to the boat to rest after all the walking we did.
5:00pm- The Annapolis boat show is officially over. While we were enjoying a lasagna meal and to attesting Thanksgiving, we watch all the new boats leave and go right by our boat. It was like a parade and we had front row seats.
6:30pm- What a gorgeous day however it is starting to get damp and cool. Time to move inside the boat.
11:00pm- We learned something new after being on a mooring for at least week. We could only get 4 channels on our TV and they were never clear and it really frustrated Steve because they kept going on and off. Others at the boat show would get a lot more channels and came through clear. While watching a DVD, which Natalie and Michael lent us, Steve did some research on line. He found out if you are too close to the antennas, that you need to lower the amplifiers on the boat. Now we have 20 stations and they are clear. We can actually watch the news now. Yeah!
Happy Thanksgiving.. Frost warning near here last night. Stay warm..
