September 5, 2016  Off we Go

Tuesday September 6, 2016- 6:15 am, we leaving Fifty Point Marina.  I don't think it has really sunk in yet.  New challenges ahead.  Thanks Jayne for taking this photo.

Thank you Connie and Tom McFarlan for following us out the Fifty Point channel and waving goodbye while taking photos. 

 It was so cute, because my daughter, Nicky and granddaughter Lyla from Florida, watched us leave on Face Time until we were disconnected by Wi-Fi. It was almost like they were with us.  This is when I love technology.

11:15am- we called US Customs thru our Nexus.  They gave us a pending number until we get to Oswego where they will assign us with a Caribbean license.  We are still able to stop in Rochester for the night.  Already learned something new.  Steve put up the US courtesy flag.
